BioI hate religion.
It has its uses: Bringing together people of similar beliefs, granting affirmation to the doubtful, and guilting people into doing the right thing. For the most part, religion is a pernicious influence that should not be allowed to thrive. How does it thrive? By receiving more recognition than it deserves.
It is time we keep religion private. What you believe is between you and your god(s). Don't force it down our throats. When religious zealots stop preaching at me against my will, then I'll stop screaming out against religion.
